Are women becoming desperate nowadays because of the scarcity of men?

Well, I have a story, pretty interesting story....some of you guys may like it, some you guys will feel offense because this story may pertain to you and your love life and some of you guys may wonder what commons sense do these people have......let us begin, shall we?

I have a friend, lets call her Maya. Maya, has always had a boyfriend for as long as I can remember, if she is not taken, she would do what is called serial dating,. It is like she has to be with someone of the opposite sex at all times. Just recently, she has been dating this man, ( I guess you can call him that..) for about five months now. Let's call him Mike. Now, a little bit of a history about Mike. He is four years older than she is, he works but doesn't make a lot of money, his mama kicked him out and she moved to a one bedroom apartment so that he doesn't move in, he has a daughter, so you know that there is some baby mama drama going on. This is the guy she is dating...you know...I don't hate nor do I discriminate...

Now, after two months of being together, Mike is in trouble because his mama kicked him out, so he asks Maya if he can move in with her. In a heartbeat, Maya says yes, so he moves in. He does not pay any rent or pay any bills. Mike feels that because Maya makes more money than he does, he is not obligated to pay any rent or bills. (Now I see why his ass was kicked out from his mama's house!)

Now after living together, he has been secretly talking to the mother of his child at work (Maya, Mike and the baby mama all work at the same place). Maya finds out and she is furious. He claims that he has to be in good terms with the mother of his child because of the child. Maya understands this, but what she doesn't understand is why is he always talking to her, going to her house, even when the child is in school..what reasons does he have for that? Mike claims that Maya is being unfair so he breaks up with her.

.......Now, this is the part that really grinds my gears! He had the audacity to ask her if he can still stay with her..RENT FREE! Now, I am not the one to have a heart once my heart is broken. If that was me..I would have gone LAPD on his behind..literally!...But do you know what Maya said...."Ok, you can still stay". WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now when she told me this..I wanted to smother her with my couch pillow. I was appalled! I asked her why and she told me "Well, he would be homeless if I kick him out" My next question was, "Did you give him a time frame, like a week, 2 weeks tops to stay with you? She said no. SHE SAID NO!!!! That was it for me, I couldn't take it anymore, I literally had to use the bathroom to vomit out all of the rubbish that she told me. Her plan is that if he sees how much she cares for him, he would come back to her. His plan is to live rent free with a female and he would do or say whatever he can to keep it that way. (Dang Maya, talk about being desperate!)

What would you do if you were in a situation like this? Would you kick him out? Would he let him stay rent free? Would you be like me and put him on blast for being the scrub of all scrubs? Do you think he has had this plan set for the very beginning?
